Task Teens Terms of Use

Welcome to Task Teens. These Terms of Use outline the expectations and responsibilities for both community members requesting help (“Clients”) and teens completing tasks (“Teens”). By using Task Teens, you agree to follow these terms.

Platform Overview

Task Teens connects community members with guardian-approved teens who are available to help with everyday tasks. Task Teens facilitates matching, communication, and payments, but tasks are performed by Teens independently.

Client Responsibilities

• Provide accurate task details when booking
• Ensure a safe and appropriate work environment
• Be present or provide clear instructions for the task
• Treat Teens with respect and professionalism
• Pay for tasks upfront at the time of booking

Teen Responsibilities

• Arrive on time for accepted tasks
• Complete tasks as described
• Communicate clearly and respectfully
• Follow all safety guidelines
• Represent Task Teens professionally

Booking Fees

Task Teens charges a flat $5 booking fee per task. The first booking is $10 and includes a one-time background approval fee for the client. This helps maintain a safe and trusted environment for teens.

Payments

Clients pay upfront at the time of booking. Payments are held until the task is completed. Teens are paid after completion, and clients may choose to provide optional tips. Tips go directly to the Teen.

Cancellations

Clients may cancel a task more than 2 hours before the start time for a refund minus the booking fee. Cancellations within 2 hours of the task may not be refunded. In late cancellation situations, Teens may receive a partial payout.

If a Teen cancels, the client may choose to receive a replacement Teen, reschedule with the same Teen, or receive a full refund.

Same-Day Tasks

Same-day bookings are only available to background-approved clients. Teens have a limited time to accept same-day tasks. If no Teen accepts, the task may be expanded to additional available Teens.

Safety

Task Teens is designed to create a safe environment for both Clients and Teens. Clients must provide safe working conditions. Teens should only accept tasks they feel comfortable completing. Task Teens reserves the right to remove users who violate safety expectations.

Platform Conduct

Teens and Clients are expected to communicate respectfully. Harassment, unsafe requests, illegal activity, or attempts to move tasks off-platform may result in removal from Task Teens.

Independent Services

Teens complete tasks independently. Task Teens provides the platform for connection and coordination but does not directly supervise individual tasks.

Changes to Terms

Task Teens may update these Terms as the platform grows. Continued use of Task Teens indicates acceptance of any updates.
